Back to the Lord

A good friend of 22 years passed away this afternoon. He'd a massive stroke yesterday but was only discovered last night @9pm when his brother returned home.. so no1 knew when & how it actually happened. He's pronounced brain-dead.. his organs were failing & he took his last breath today @2.30pm. It's sudden as he's a year younger than me.

Many of our good old friends visited him yesterday... he'd be happy if he were to know since he loved to have his friends around.

Life can be that short.

A Good Nite of Live Musique

Hubby & I had a drink last Fri @ M Hotel's J Bar with my boss & his friend. Enjoyed some great songs by the live band... & 2 of the band members are my new colleagues!

The place has sure changed a lot... certainly to the better. I'd been there a couple of times at least 7 years ago & it's much like a business lounge then with nice view.

And the band - Riverie, who used to perform in Bala & Timbre, played well :)

Smokey eye look VS sans eye makeup look.
Whole smokey effect was done with the newly bought Nature Republic's Pearl Black Gel Eyeliner.
I like the versatility of gel eyeliner (have already bought 1 Maybelline black & 1 Maybelline purple eyeliners a couple of months back) - from drawing eyeliner to blending into eyeshadow.
By the way, I've switched to mouse/cream eyeshadow as the staying power is better for my oily lids.

Though I personally think smokey eyes don't suit me that much... What say you?:)
