2 weeks after we came back from our honeymoon, Vince went for his 1-week reservist training. Not used to life without my hubby.... had to do everything by myself.
Took the chance to catch up with some friends. Supposed to have a birthday dinner with a good old friend of 22 yrs but her kid fell sick so had to cancel.
With my honey's consent, met up with MG for dinner. But that's not the end..... thereafter we'd drinks @ MOS - a coffee joint - Mac's & only got home near 5am! He'd probably drive to at least another spot if hadn't I told him I was beat. Gosh! can't remember when was the last time I slept so early in the morning..... Was so worried that hubby would be upset but he's ever so understanding! Hee... Really appreciate his trust & yes, MG was very well-behaved, like in the past. And MG shared some great news... he's gonna open a pub in town with 2 other partners later this month. From what he said, it should be a real cool place to chill out. Been contributing a lil of my 1-cent worth here & there on the forthcoming launch which he's so excited about. Hmmm... I miss those days @ The Bar... but his is definitely a much bigger venture.
Also met up with TM. Before going for a cuppa, he visited our place for the 1st time & he's full of praises! Hee! Anyway it'll soon be his turn when his MeraPrime unit TOP early next yr. Been to his current place @ Upper Bukit Timah... all designer stuff.. like he's this normal-looking stool that costs more than 1k! Boy... I didn't dare to sit on it! He sure has expensive taste...
But he's such a great friend... also helped to chauffeur my sick mum on that day. We'd already reached HarbourFront for a tea but after knowing my worries, he suggested to 1st bring my mum home from TPY where she'd just consulted a sinseh. So literally we're on the road for 2 hours & ended up having dinner somewhere near my place. Hubby & I are really grateful to him for helping out.
Then a week passed & my honey's back again! Yeah!
