Last weekend

It's definitely not a good start to the W.E.

Remember last Fri due to the ongoing headache I was puking like there's no tomorrow? So much so that I vomitted blood together with... ermm... the food I last took (sorry if it sounds gross!). I saw & tasted blood after the last few rounds which really freaked me out. Got so scared that I stopped vomitting & tried to surpress what's coming up my throat. As a result I felt my throat & chest area being totally clogged.

Good that it's time to knock off & hubby immediately drove me to TTSH's A&E. Only a short wait to see the doc but after examination, I gotta be admitted! Was being put under observation & sent for a brain scan on the very night... actually morning as the procedure was done @ 1am. Also had 2 jabs.. 1 on my left & the other on my right, concurrently. Yiiiikezzz!

Was feeling very restless throughout mainly because I didn't expect it to be that serious. But having hubby to stay over with me & his pacification eased much of my agitation. Fortunately the docs & nurses were all very kind. 1 of them even joked that the room I was staying looked like a hotel room... honestly it's pretty good overlooking the city on the 13th storey but I wasn't in a mood to appreciate.

The next morning the neurologists visited me & to much of our relief they said I cleared the brain xray. Thank God! I was allowed to discharge but need to go back for review a month later. Phew!

Rested at home for the remaining day.

Then spent the whole of Sunday shopping & it's a very fruitful trip, hee! Chanced upon this small boutique in Heeren where they sell apparel for both genders which're designed by the boss. We stayed there for more than 1 hour as I'd tried on almost their whole collection! As prices were all slashed by 50-70%, we got 6 pieces for less than $100... 4 tops & 1 skirt for me, 1 very hip pants for hubby... great deal! Also bought some miscellaneous along the way before adjourning to Parco (as if it's not enough for being there almost everyday during lunch ya?). Didn't manage to get anything there but honey bought a very nice shirt @ Bugis village & me, a pair of shoes from OG Rochor. So happy that we also happened to find the lingerie I'd been searching for! Yeah!!

Ended the day by having dinner @ June's place (Vince's 2nd sis). It's the 1st time appreciating her cooking & I'd say it's great!

Was given a week's hospitalisation leave but I took only 2 days. Realise that eyes are very important... though I had a break from working on the pc which's the main cause for aggravating my migraine, even watching tv at home as a form of relaxation caused my head to pound as well... so no point taking too many days off work. Went to test my eyesight but nothing wrong. Funny... why the uneasiness in the eyes then... Feeling much better today though...

When I saw the oriental chiropractor last Thur, he said my neck & shoulder were very stiff & that it's a very common 'sickness' among office workers. According to him, blood circulation was thus weaken especially its flow to the head (main cause for having headache). I was told to exercise more & swimming considered the best. Ah well... whether it's true or not, it'll be good for our health to exercise regularly. Since our loving God provides us with a pool, we shan't waste it. Plan to have a weekly swimming regime that starts from this Sat.

So wish me (us) to the end I (we) persevere ba...!
