NY Gift

The bacteria infection has knocked me out the whole week.

During the initial few days, I had varied symptoms every day... Day 1 - dry sticky throat.  Day 2 - throat congested with phlegm & a lil sore nasal path.  Day 3 - Kept sneezing for whole day with phlegm in throat.  Day 4 - Super runny nose & lots of phlegm in throat.  Day 5 - Nose completed congested.. couldn't breathe!  Day 6 - Runny nose & high fever.  Doses of medicine made me drowsy & disoriented.  Day 7, 8 & 9 - nose congested with thick mucus & lots of phlegm in chest.  For more than a week, hot water was my best friend & I went dessertless.  And I had soupy meals throughout.  It's pay back time.  I've had too much curry, deep fried food, desserts & chips.  There's a period, I wouldn't go to sleep without a bowl of our sea salt potato chips. Tsk tsk tsk.....
What a gift I got myself for the new year :(

I started to feel better today & had 2 treats of PS. Café desserts.  Greedy!  Seeing that I was sick & down for a week long, Cynthia wanted to cheer me up so treated me to the first at PS. Café A.S.H Park after lunch.

Indulged in my 2nd dessert of the day with beloved after dinner at Palais - ginger pudding + carrot cake :P

I better be good as definitely don't wanna be sick during CNY.

Always A Snack Time

Last Mon hubby & I went for comprehensive health screening, that's from his company.  And I was just shocked to discover that I'd put 3kg in the past 1 year!!!!

Actually I shouldn't be too surprised as there's always endless supply of bites in the office.  Besides those bought by the ladies, my team travels frequently & here're some of the snacks they brought back for the past 2 months..

Nice chocolate from Bulgaria.

V brought this back from Melbourne & I love it!  So placed an order to K who went back to Sydney to work for 2 weeks.  Nice!

And he also bought Lamington.

Chongqing tidbits from Sha.

Even Jen who visited HK, brought some nice egg rolls back.

Goldilocks from Manila.

This the latest (last Thurs).  Boss bought this in Osaka & he asked his wife to specially deliver a box each to E & I as he made his next trip without stepping into the office.  It's something like mochi in original & green tea flavour but a lil too sweet.  I'm touched though :)

C O U G H

I've been coughing for almost FOUR months!!!  I'd get well for 2 to 3 weeks & cough again... On & off, on & off.... again & again ..................

The last relapse was 2 weeks ago.  Last week I went to another GP.  He's concerned about my condition & referred me to lung specialist who sent me for x-ray.  Praise God that my lungs are clear.  His diagnosis of my persistent  phlegm in the throat - my sensitive nose which causes mucus backflow & gastric acid reflux and I was given 2 weeks medication.  Thanks to sweet hubby for taking leave last minute to bring me to the doctors :)

I must really cut down on desserts and tea intake ....

D Day

We took a day's leave last Wed & saw 3 doctors.  To be exact, I visited a dentist, met an aesthetic doctor & consulted a Chinese doctor.

As I suddenly had an extra sensitve tooth, hubby helped make a last minute appointment with his dentist friend.  After my dental appointment in Novena, I took the chance to fix my long overdue facial treatment appointment since it's in the same premise.  There, I bumped into my dermatologist & we chatted a bit, even exchanged some TCM info..

As we're very near Orchard, we went Ion & in 2 hours, we'd lunch, bought some skincare products/daily necessities & a dress before rushing back to see TCM physician near home.

Though rush rush from place to place & filled with kinda stressful activities (saw so many doctors in a day!!), I managed to buy 3 dresses & that's a consolation :)

Battle of the Year

For the past 2 weeks after our trip, I was busy... getting sick :(

On Mon morning (in KL) when I woke up, I felt extreme dryness in the throat but I was greedy, ordered many deep fried dim sum items for tea time before heading to KLIA. Almost instantly after eating, I had sore throat. Then at the airport / on the flight, I felt feverish. Upon reaching Spore, I confirmed I'd fever as I felt cold. Tue (May Day) was spent mostly in bed, attempting to recuperate. I felt ok when slept on Tue night. Then in the middle of my sleep, I felt really unwell & went to A&E at 4am, to know that my temperature hit 39.4°C & according to the MO, I got throat infection. I was given 3 days medical leave Wed-Fri.

The week before our trip, I got infected by one of my dear colleagues. His virus was really powerful (1 hit 3! those around him!). I'd mild fever & a bit of runny nose then. In a week's time, praise God that I recovered more than 80% & was ready for the trip. And I got no one to blame for the relapse but myself. All the heaty food + boozing... I've really learnt a lesson about self-discipline...

So I thought I could go back to work on Fri but nope, I felt weak & cough started to develop too. And for the past 1 week, I've been coughing badly... & at the end of each day, I'd feel so breathless that all I wanted to do is to zzz... In fact am still coughing now :(((
Now it's hubby's turn to fall sick. Poor him... been trying to nurse me back to good health for the past month but he's been surrounded by viruses at home & in office. Mum hasn't been feeling too good lately as well. Because of me being sick, the annual tomb-sweeping was postponed & Mother's Day celebration.

Just hope that all of us in the family will get well soon .....

Development of "World Map"

Don't know why since Tue, I'm having really bad rashes that look more like a world map, which become worse at night. We're choosing between seeing a doc and going TCM. Think I'll choose the latter if by tomorrow my "world map" doesn't subside.

Especially this weekend, we're gonna have lots of food. Meeting PY & Brian for dinner on Sat & we're having a belated Father's Day lunch this Sun. 2 buffets consecutively.... not good not good....

Bioresonance Therapy (BRT)

Constance appeared in this week's i-weekly! ;)

This business of naturopathic treatments (Bio-Resonance Therapy Centre) was established by the uncle, Vincent, & another partner a year ago. And they're expanding fast.. to think that their first centre was opened only last July.

Now, both Constance & hubby are working for their uncle while Ben's just "graduated" from his nearly 10-month vacation job with BRT. It's served as a very good training ground as hubby & I see the changes in him... he's become more mature & responsible:)

Con runs the centre that treats pets (Passion for Pets Centre) and hubby helps Uncle Vincent in overseeing the Singapore business as the 2 bosses are spending more & more time in their overseas ventures.

Initially, hubby & I were quite doubtful about these therapies. Instead, I've started to take TCM because of my weak health. Till around April this year, hubby's elder uncle, GH, tried persuading hubby to have my FIL treated in BRT. As Uncle GH is a prideful person who always has his own views, we're surprised that he spoke well of the treatments which both he & his son had received before.

So in May, I went for health check in BRT. The problems diagnosed were the same as those identified by the few chinese physicians I've consulted before. The fact that nobody from BRT foreknew my health condition but was able to get to the same diagnosis gave us confidence to be treated there.

And more to it, I needed cancer-support treatments as degenerated cells (DC) were found in my liver, large intestines & lymphatic system. Some in stage 1 & some in stage 2 (ie. it's the very initial stage before a lump's formed & can't be detected by the usual medical checkups; only stage 3 DC would be picked up by the medical checks). I wasn't too surprised as the chinese doctor, Dr Jeremiah, who I faithfully visited of late cautioned me that my liver & large intestines were not good & that's before I went for BRT check. When asked if I would have cancer in those areas, Dr Jeremiah didn't rule out the possibility. What makes me harbour such thoughts is also the family history of cancer cases on my mum's side.. about 50% of her family members, & we're talking about having 8 sisters & 2 brothers, were diagnosed with or died of cancer (breast cancer, ovarian cancer, nose cancer, cervical cancer ...). That's really scary. So the shadow of having cancer has always been with me, especially my health's been weak.

After about 6 weeks' treatment (twice a week & it's expensive!), I was discharged! Supposed to continue with the normal treatments (for my spine, allergies ...) but I'll go back when we're more settled. That doesn't mean I'm free for life.. due to our eating habits, lifestyle & work stress in the world today, there might be a comeback or some other areas could be affected. So I'm gonna have a review a month after my last treatment, that is, early Aug.

According to hubby, Singapore Cancer Society has been referring patients to be treated in BRT. It's really meaningful to be able to help them.

Hubby's checked too. Thankfully he doesn't have much health problems except for his spine.

We thank God for leading us to the right thing at the right time. Imagine if we're not aware of my health condition & not doing anything till..... & very often, cancer is developed by then.

The consecutive happenings recently once again remind us that He is the Sovereign & Merciful God. We'll learn to put our lives in His hand, be it in sickness or in good health, & walk His path hand in hand :)

Cervical Spondylosis

Definition: Cervical spondylosis is a general term for age-related wear and tear affecting the joints in your neck. Also known as cervical osteoarthritis, this condition usually appears in men and women older than 40 and progresses with age.

But sadly, I've it early due to the prolonged bad posture. For 10 years, I'd been slouching while working on my laptop/desktop as the armrest of my chair was higher than the desk & I couldn't tuck in comfortably. I was ignorant & never did I think that my back & neck would be seriously affected. I passed the periodical back & neck pains as overexertion, or so did the GPs say.
So you guys out there, be mindful of your posture.. especially when facing the laptop & watching TV. Back then, I've never thought such illness would hit me too....

It's first diagnosed last Aug after going through an MRI, when I was alarmed by some numbness on my left hand & thus went to the doctor. There's a disc bulge at C3-4 of my spine. To put it simply, a soft bone has grown on my spine and it's kinda pressing on my nerve. Which explained the frequent back/neck pain & the numbness.

Doctor said if treatments couldn't improve my condition, would have to consider surgery which I wouldn't want to think. The mere thought of operating on my spine was terrifying enough.

Had weekly physio-therapy @ Mt E for the first 2 months. And recommended by my spine specialist, I've been going for traction & acupuncture. Initially twice every week during the first month. Then it's a weekly trip & recently, I try to reduce to bi-weekly.

My condition's improving especially the numbness... it's gone pretty soon after about a month of acupuncture treatments.

Thank God that I don't need surgery. Thank hubby for his perserverance. He sends me to the chinese physician without fail since my first visit. Especially every weekend, from home all the way to Telok Blangah, rain or shine, & waits for me. Dr Ong & her staff, who are full of praises for him, know hubby as well as they know me.

I'm truly thankful that I've a husband who not only shares the good things & laughter, but has also been with me in all times of troubles & sickness since day 1.

Purchases

Of the bigger items.

This 3-seater sofa with 2 recliner - a great replacement of our L-shape sofa as of end June.
We've waited more than 2 months & this wasn't the set we initially chose. Only after a month that they told us the first model we ordered was out of stock due to some parts (the recliner) & that's only when we called them to enquire about delivery date. At first we're really unhappy with their service but managed to leave the place with a smile as we got a better deal. This set costs $200 more than the original one but they absorbed the difference as a compensation. They weren't supposed to carry this model as manufacturer sells exclusively at their own showroom at Kaki Bukit. But we went & eventually chose this; the boss had to negotiate with his manufacturer to make an exemption) I would say it's a blessing in disguise as we prefer this

This is the best thing we could have for our weekend DVD session. And it really helps my problematic back a lot.

New dining benches as well.

We like the new look with our white furniture

Finally bought a pot of monstera deliciosa... only less than a hundred as it's a much smaller version. But I'm happy enough.

My Sony Ericsson C902 that hubby bought for me on the first Sat of July, when his contract was up for 21-month upgrade;)

My sickly days in Seoul

Started feeling unwell on Sun afternoon. Thank God we're on our own Mon noon onwards... at least could do things at our own pace. We're so lack of sleep since the night we departed. On average, we could only manage to catch 4 hours of sleep every night due to the packed schedule. Which is why hubby & I never like to join package tour.. it's worse than working days.

Mon afternoon, we still went out and walked quite a bit. In fact, we again covered our whole afternoon's journey by foot. Initially we're a lil lost.. we didn't know where to head to. All the road signs in only Korean made it worse. Too bad I was sick.. otherwise I'd have completely enjoyed the cold cold weather with hubby. That's the only time I wished it could be warmer. After some distance, chanced upon a small eating place & had our lunch there.. delicious fried chicken. Got to know a very nice & helpful Korean, Mr Sung(?), who spoke excellent English as he studied in the US before. Thereafter to the nearby bank to change more money. Then Namdaemun Market. Went to Shinsegae Department Store at Myung Dong which was about 15mins from Namdaemun. Did marketing at their supermarket.. bought bread, butter, eggs, juice, instant noodles etc as I didn't have much appetite to feast on local food:( Hubby still preferred to walk back despite having to carry all by himself the items we bought & they're heavy. Took us about 25mins to reach the apartment.

That night, I ran quite high a fever again with a very bad cough. Made a call back to Singapore, to our travel insurance provider and its in-house doctor urged me to see a local doc immediately as from what I told her, she said I was having bronchitis. So we called the hotel's front desk, telling the staff I was sick and asked them to send for an emergency doctor. After a while, the front desk called us back saying it's not available & promised to send one the following morning at 10am. I insisted I wanted a doctor & she too insisted she didn't have one.

The next morning after 10am, no sign of doctor. So hubby called the front desk again. 10mins later, finally the doorbell rang. But it turned out to be someone delivering an adapter. Hubby then asked the reception about the doctor but that lady had no clue of what we're talking about. At that moment, I lost my patience. I took over the call & started shouting at her. I couldn't believe such a request as important as life threatening was not being marked in their record. I was breathless & coughing but still couldn't control myself from speaking at the top of my voice. I think the sentence "do you want me to die in your apartment??!!" scared her (that's if she could understand)... she kept apologising and then, asked me to spell out what I wanted. I nearly fainted. Only then we realised they had mistaken "A Doctor" as "Adapter"! We had mentioned "A Doctor" at least 10 times & without fail, they thought it's "Adapter" each time. Goodness... imagine if it's really a life-threatening situation??

Some minutes later, another staff called to apologise & said they had prepared the hotel transport to send me to the nearest clinic. He explained that the doctors in Seoul could not make house call.

A hotel staff, Thomas, went with us in case we needed an interpreter. It's quite a short distance to the nearest doctor who's actually an orthopaedist. Like what I was previous told, he diagnosed that I had acute bronchitis with a fever of 38.6°C (I wasn't even feeling that feverish then, so can you imagine how high my fever had gotten when I felt really unwell at night?) and gave me a jab of antibiotics on top of the medicine he prescribed. It's a pretty smooth process as the doc could speak pretty good English. Of course, he graduated from Harvard University! Thomas then brought us to the pharmacy a few doors away to purchase the medicine. We're told this is how it works in Seoul, the clinics usually don't provide medicine. Maybe that's the reason why they don't make house call?

We're back in the apartment in less than an hour. Took the medicine & rest while hubby did laundry. Only went out after 3pm to start my cosmetics shopping. Had Burger King for dinner. Surprisingly, I craved for fast food & western food during the few days when I was so sick. I shuddered at the thought of seaweed soup, hotpot, udon... Maybe I had too much Korean food before that:P Now I miss their Bibimbap! Hubby & I like it!

I think we'd made "an impression" at the hotel. Everyone seemed to know us. The next morning hubby called to enquire about the airport limo & the gentleman asked "how's your wife, sir?". Thought he's Thomas but nope, he wasn't. Another lady, Michelle, also called to apologise again and asked how's things. Hmm...

I had my Wish fulfilled! :)

It snowed on the first night of our arrival!

See it now??

We returned last Wed night (about 10pm) & I only surface now because I am sick. We resumed work the next day (Thurs) and I was on medical leave on Fri. The medicine zonked me out so much that I couldn't bring myself to face computer for the past days. About my sickness, well that's another story to tell. Coming up soon.

Weak

Hubby & I went for the flu vaccination last Sat and only I get the adverse reactions. Doc called it a milder version of the real influenza. This shows how weak I am. :(

Feeling better today but the medicine just lulls me so much. Yawn~

Glad that I only agreed to help my boss at the airshow tomorrow onwards as I need time to recuperate.website statistics

Productivity

A week ago, we drafted a work schedule for the following 4 weekends. There're just so many things to do!

And last weekend, we're at both ends of the scale.

Sat morning we woke up pretty early & as planned, hubby took down all the curtains that will be collected this afternoon for dry cleaning. The chore took only half an hour, much lesser time needed than what we expected. Glad we're well in schedule. But I was happy too soon. The paint & rack (both for our planter areas) that were in Sat/Sun's list were not purchased. Mainly due to some last minute matters...

On Sat, I had an 80-min phone conversation with Constance. I just had a shower & was getting ready to go out with hubby & had to drop everything to talk with her. She's having some problems. Then hubby was stuck in a long Q at a nearby clinic (he's diagnosed by doc as having ligament inflammation). On Sun, hubby had to work on his reports which he brought home to do.

What was productive for us then? Shopping! :þ

Were shopping in Orchard Road 3 - 9.30pm and had gotten enough clothes for CNY. Hee. Bumped into the sister of hubby's ex, Michelle. Few weeks ago, it's her brother. Perhaps we're 'destined' to meet every now & then (a couple of times with each of them already). Haha. Whereas we haven't met any other friends at all nor more than once over a period.

On Sunday, after hubby finished his work, we went to Thomson Plaza to buy me another pair of shoes instead of getting the rack for our plants. I bought 3 pairs there the Sunday before & one of them is especially comfy. So before the size runs out, we went to grab another pair in different color. :)

Headache

Having a persistant headache since Monday. And when I've headache/migraine for more than half a day, I'll vomit. So that's how I've been these 3 days.

Suspect the culprit of my headache this time was the DOM Benedictine liquor which is nothing new as I've got hit by it before twice, or 3 times including this. For the 1st 2 times a bit of sore throat surfaced right after (the next morning).

Been very weak in health for the past months. So when I thought I felt healthy last week I started my DOM regime, an idea strongly recommended by mum & friends, to strengthen my health. 1-third of a shot glass on last Fri, Sat & Sun nights. Then on Mon morning, I woke up with a headache, I really hate the feeling & worse, the heavy headedness persisted..... Pain killers weren't effective.

Yesterday hubby took half day to get settle some home stuff & I took too as I wasn't feeling good. When he's done, he brought me to a TCM in Chong Pang. I was diagnosed as being very "heaty" & having some spinal problems that aggravated my headache. I received a session of I seriously don't know the name... all I could sense (I didn't see) was he had fire on one hand, a cup/glass-shape thing on the other. It's really painful when the glass thing glided on my back for quite a few times. But it instantly relieved my headache though not completely.

I knew my back would be red but didn't expect it would be this bad. It goes all the way to the waist area.

And there goes my plan of wearing a tube dress for this Fri's company lunch.

The pre & the post

We started to be in a celebratory mood days before our anniversary. Didn't have anything extravagant. Just dwelt in the joy & love we shared.

Set dinner at Out of The Pan on Wed evening

Dined at Prego with PY on Thurs. As you can see, I'm trying to make good use of our Card. ;)

Visited our friend in hospital who'd just given birth. Then had a quick & simple dinner at one of the stalls in Paragon before heading home. Hubby brought some work back to do so we could enjoy our special weekend & an extended one as we'd applied leave on Mon.

But who knows, right after our celebration I fell sick. Started to feel unwell on Sunday. Then spent half of our Mon in clinics... both western & chinese. Sigh.... A day's ML on Tue as still felt lousy. Much better now though the nose infection hasn't totally gone.

So this week I work only 2 days. Hee.

As a whole, a Lazy weekend

I took a day's leave on Fri. After sending hubby off, I was at a loss of what to do as it's only 7.45 in the morning. Had a few banking errands to run but too early for that. So decided to have a long & relaxing Latte Mocha @ Starbucks Changi Airport. And after a long tele-conversation with Eric, my hp batt appeared red alert... it's still 3/4 full when I left home in the morning.

Left airport for orchard around 9.30am. Wanted to cut my fringe at justina's so thought I could borrow a charger from one of the stylists. Disappointingly no one used Sony Ericsson hp. But I was happy that I had a free fringe cut ;) So took the opportunity to send in my phone for repair since my keypad's broken & the memory card slot was loosen. Been wanting to drop by their service centre in Wisma one of the weekdays (was told to avoid weekends as more complicated repairs would take more than a day).. might as well make use of my leave to get it settled. At the same time, I asked to have my battery charged.
By the way, don't get Sony Ericsson S500i if you're even considering. The keypad had cracked & been replaced twice.. ie. once every 2 weeks.

For the next 3 hours I went without phone & it's truly miserable. Did my banking errands & shopped for Rachel's present. Meanwhile I had to maintain communication with sis as we're meeting for hi-tea with mum but time & venue not confirmed yet. Besides searching for public phones which are becoming scarce nowadays, also tried to borrow phones wherever I stopped for my errands. The half-hourly phone call had become such a hard chore. And I was so busy that not only there's no time for lunch, I also gotta walk briskly from point to point. By the time I was done with all I planned to do (except collecting my hp), I was late for the hi-tea @ Equinox. Didn't expect I had so much to settle but was glad my leave was very well utilised.

After hi-tea, sis & I planned to shop a bit in Orchard after collecting my phone. But while walking to Ngee Ann City, I had the worst leg cramp in my life. Thank God sis was with me then & she helped me to massage my left calf. I was so scared as I'd never experienced that kind of cramp before... not even when I was doing athletics in school. It's frightening... I first felt weak & some tightness in both legs.. then before I could react, came the acute cramp in my left calf that pulled all the way to my left foot which caused my foot to bend backwards. It's soooo painful & I was terrified that I might get that in my right leg as well because it started to pull a lil too. If that were to happen, I would fall hard on the ground.

So instead of shopping, we took a tea break at Coffee Beans till I felt better. Reached home around 8.30pm. Supposed to meet June for coffee at about 10.30pm but we were both too tired to move. Especially I was still having pain in my leg. Treated my poor feet a hot water dip & then an iSqueez leg massage.

For the subsequent 2 days I grounded myself. All because I walked too much & too fast on Fri. Appointments with Eric, with sis on Sat & with C on Sun... all gone. My leg was still painful & I felt lethargic.

Yesterday morning, went to see doc & he said I had over-strained my veins. Asked me to rest more, try to lift my legs up when sitting & walk slowly. Needless to say, no high heels for me the next few days. Rested for the entire day till I went to fetch hubby at the airport in the evening which was meant to be a surprise for him.

Actually I do enjoy the feeling of not doing anything... just sleep, food, tv, computer ;)
Don't I sound like a bum?

Heartburn

Been feeling unwell for the past week. Started on Mon night when I took an apple before going to bed. Then for the whole night I felt as if the apple was stuck in my throat & chest. The next day onwards I experience a bit of pain when drinking & eating. Went to a doctor near my office on Tue. Told him how I felt... he laughed at me and said it's impossible that the apple to still be there. He concluded that it's some gastric problems I am having. I still kinda have apetite but it feels lousy and very uncomfortable... as if my esophagus is choked with too much food (when you eat too fast & too much at one go). I feel pain all the way to the chest and there's burning sensation inside too. Sigh.. So most of the time I take lesser than normal and am mostly on liquid diet (crave for hot soup!). Yet I get hungry very fast.. like after every hour or so.. and if I don't feed myself soon enough, I'll feel as if my stomach is being digged vigorously.

Thurs night after work went to see another doc when I didn't get any better. Same diagnosis.

Am feeling a lil bit better today. Mum made me a big pot of soup which is one of my fav. My poor honey has to put up with all the inconsistency (one minute I want food but the next he has to finish most of it plus his own portion) and funny requests (trying hard to look for soupy stuff). And I admit I'm already a fussy gal on normal days.

Week 7

I realize I’m always way behind updates about us. Boy, am I busy!

Previously I stopped at 14 Feb - Valentine’s Day. And I didn’t mention I was sick, again. Before that we’d already planned to have a simple dinner, no particular venue in mind though.. would just go any where depending on our mood & apetite at that moment. Then in the morning I woke up with gastric pain. Around noon I started feeling feverish so left office an hour earlier to the doc. Changed my toe’s dressing & got some medicine for my unwellness. As I only felt like having some soupy stuff, we joined the crowd at J8’s Crystal Jade. Thank God we got our seats soon enough, in less than 15 mins. And I couldn’t even finish a quarter of the porridge!

So our Valentine’s Day dinner this year: 1 plate of beef fried rice for hubby, ¼ bowl of lean meat+century egg congee for myself.

Good that we’d already exchanged gifts days before.
Mine4 A 100ml Romance Eau de Parfum that comes with a 200ml Romance Bath & Shower Gel (yeah!) + a 7ml Romance miniature that I've been searching for.
I loooove Romance. Been wearing it for 8 years & am still far from getting tired of the scent. It's like my signature. Once I re-visited a hair salon in KL after some months & the hair stylist said she remembered me because of my scent as she liked it. And my boss ever asked me what perfume I used as he'd the intention to get for his wife. Have come across a lot of similar enquiries & compliments including from strangers! In fact, it's still a present tense.

Hubby's4 A 90ml Boss Selection Eau de Toilette. Comes with a stylish Hugo Boss Messenger Bag + a set of Hugo Boss shower gel for him (Boss Selection) & me (Pure Purple, smells nice!).

He's been using Romance Men & apparently he likes his new scent too!

Was on medical leave on Thursday. Had a good rest & also managed to clear quite a few minor household chores here & there. Our place was ready for CNY at the end of the evening. Hehe.

In the evening, went to Chong Pang to do our marketing. Or rather, mum & her son-in-law as I was banned from walking in crowded places (my toe was still healing then). I waited in the car while they got all the stuff for the reunion lunch & lotsa can drinks.

Was in super holiday mood on Fri. Quite busy at work though. Aslo rushed to first Seiyu, then City Hall during lunch to shop for a BD present & still had time to get myself a pretty golden rose necklace from Aldo.. all within an hour!

Love this! June likes my necklace too :)

After work, had dinner at a coffeeshop in Braddell before going to the doc… yes, to change dressing again. I wanted it to recover fast for the Melbourne trip, so I gotta be good & diligent. When reached home, was busy preparing for the next day's lunch.

75% well

I'm much better today Cool

Thanks to my sweet colleague who brought me to a chinese physician during lunch yesterday. It's raining heavily then & she didn't mind at all getting herself wet. Was feeling very lousy the whole day in office.. the headache didn't seem to go. Got a lil better in the evening. But still no appetite to eat... & what I had for dinner? A can of Campbell minestrone soup. The thought of fishball soup, wanton mee, porridge, etc made me sick. At least minestrone was a lil more appetising. Took 2 rounds to finish it but still I threw up. Had an early rest at 9ish while poor hubby.. rush rush...... first rushed to get the soup for me & ta-pao dinner for himself, sent me home, prepped my Dinner & ate with me, then after seeing me to bed, off to fetch mum from her cell group gathering @ Bukit Timah. When he's back, had to attend to Tubby-boy too.
